When the Porsche Cayenne was introduced to the market, it marked a clear turning point for the brand. Not only from a commercial perspective, but technically as well. Porsche proved that an SUV could deliver the same precision, performance and build quality as its sports cars. With a base price of approximately €115,000 excluding options, this model was positioned as the absolute flagship. And that is something you still feel today.
What truly elevates this particular example, however, is its configuration. This is not a standard Cayenne Turbo, but a car that was specified from factory in an exceptionally thoughtful and highly individual way. Originally delivered by Porsche Centre Sendai, this car was finished in GTS Red, a color classified by Porsche under Special Exterior Colours. This shade was not freely available on the Cayenne Turbo and could only be ordered through a specific factory request. In practice, GTS Red was almost exclusively seen on the Cayenne GTS and is extremely rare on a Turbo. Especially in combination with an interior of this level. The car features a full Chestnut Brown interior, with seats, dashboard and carpets all finished in the same tone. This is a configuration typically chosen by clients who know exactly what they want. Both the paint and the interior reflect the level of care this car has received. Approximately 95% of the paint remains in its original finish, while the interior presents in virtually as-new condition. This speaks volumes about the way this car has been used and maintained. In terms of equipment, this Cayenne Turbo is exceptionally well specified. It features air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, essential for the driving comfort of this model. In addition, it is equipped with a full extended leather interior, Alcantara headliner, comfort seats with memory function, heated seats front and rear, BOSE Surround Sound System, front and rear ParkAssist, cruise control, 19-inch Cayenne Design wheels, an exterior package in matte aluminium finish and a soft-close tailgate. The car has a fully documented mileage of 98,911 km and presents in outstanding condition.
This is exactly the kind of Cayenne Turbo that matters today. Not a standard example, but a car that was configured differently from day one. The combination of a rare factory specification in GTS Red, a fully extended Chestnut Brown interior and an exceptional state of preservation makes this a car that rarely comes to market.
