Starting in 1963 with the original 911, Porsche has produced a line of six-cylinder rear-engine sportscars that could compete with much more powerful cars thanks to their low weight and superior handling. Introduced in 1984, the Carrera 3.2 was the last iteration of the classic 911 before the large changes of the 964. The Carrera 3.2 produced 231 horsepower at 5,900rpm.
True to Porsche's reputation, the Carrera 3.2 offered the unique experience of driving pleasure and performance without sacrificing comfort and usability. Due to their robust construction and strong owner's groups, these 1980s 911s are great cars to be enjoyed and driven.

This 911 3.2 Carrera
Completed at Porsche in 1984, at the very start of 911 Carrera 3.2 production, this spectacular Coupé is a rare creation of the Sonderwunsch department Porsche’s Special Wishes program. Finished exactly as it appears today, it was ordered in the unique color Rolls-Royce Exeter Blue, a shade that may well make it the only 911 painted in this livery.
The bespoke touches continue inside, where the cabin is trimmed in dark blue leather with fully electric Recaro seats, a sports steering wheel, and further special details. Beneath the rear decklid sits the improved 3.2-liter flat-six, the engine that marked a new era for the 911.
First delivered in Germany, the Carrera remained there until 1999, when it was purchased by a French collector who enjoyed it for the following 23 years. With 3 registered owners since new; its history is comprehensively documented with invoices, service records, and two maintenance booklets (the original now full, and a second one continued). Today, showing just under 190,000 km, the car resides in Belgium and remains in remarkably original condition.
Paint meter readings confirm mostly factory paint, with only the hood and engine cover having been resprayed. The finish retains excellent gloss and depth, with normal stone chips and signs of age consistent with 40 years and correspondant mileage. Importantly, the body shows no evidence of filler or accident repair, and the factory-applied VIN decal, ID plates, and protective undercoating remain intact.
Inside, the Porsche delights with its original full-leather interior, wood veneer dashboard, optional under-dash pockets, speaker assembly on the parcel shelf, and charming Sonderwunsch details such as the leather-covered fuse box. The Recaro seats and sport steering wheel remain standout features, combining comfort and character.
The owners carefully maintained the car with several invoices on record stating all this work. This includes a recent clutch replacement as well as full engine rebuild some years ago. This car drives very fine and the engine is dry, as could be expected after these works.
As one of very few Sonderwunsch-built 911s from this era and quite possibly the only example in this color this Carrera 3.2 is a highly collectible and individual car. Comparable to a modern Porsche Exclusive build with a unique Paint-To-Sample color, this example was ordered with numerous special options. It is offered complete with its original owner’s manuals in pouch, Porsche service documents, original key, space-saver spare, jack, tool roll and a lot of history including the corresponding Sonderwunsch catalog
A rare opportunity to acquire a uniquely specified, well-preserved Carrera 3.2.
The car is presented on behalf of our client.
