- Factory left-hand drive
- Desirable five speed manual transmission
- Finished in elegant Olive Green with champagne leather interior
The Aston Martin DB6 represents the most refined evolution of the classic DB lineage that began with the DB4 and DB5. While the DB5 is often celebrated for its iconic status, the DB6 was developed with a clear focus on improved driving stability, comfort, and long-distance usability. With its longer wheelbase, revised aerodynamics, and technical refinements, the DB6 is widely regarded as the most mature and usable interpretation of this generation.
This beautiful Aston Martin DB6 was delivered new through Société Nouvelle du Garage Mirabeau in France and was specified in an exceptionally elegant factory colour combination of Olive Green with a Champagne leather interior. It is a rare and highly attractive specification that suits the DB6 perfectly and is seldom seen on those cars today. The interior is equally impressive, displaying a beautiful and authentic patina, exactly as one would hope to find on a correctly preserved example. Importantly, this DB6 is fully matching numbers and matching colors. The engine, gearbox, and color specification all correspond to the original factory records, as confirmed by the Aston Martin Heritage Certificate. This is a very correct car in every respect, which also performs exceptionally well on the road and is genuinely enjoyable to drive. This example is further distinguished by being a late Mk2, a version that is technically and structurally superior to the early DB6 cars. The Mk2 benefited from continued development in suspension, drivetrain refinement, and overall build quality, and is generally regarded as the best-driving and most complete DB6 variant. The overall condition is excellent. Both technically and cosmetically, the car presents to a very high standard. It starts easily, runs smoothly, and drives exactly as a well-sorted DB6 Mk2 should. This is not a static display piece, but a car that has clearly been maintained with care and has been driven as intended.
In summary, this is a late Aston Martin DB6 Mk2 in outstanding, correct, and honest condition, featuring the right specification, the right colors, and a very satisfying driving experience. A strong reference example for anyone seeking a classic Aston Martin
