1996 Porsche 993 Turbo WLS1Factory Sonderwunsch Factory Aero Kit (XD1 and XD2) German Delivery
The Porsche 993 Turbo represents the final chapter of Porsche’s legendary air-cooled Turbo lineage. Introduced in 1995, it was the first Turbo equipped with twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive, combining immense performance with everyday usability. With 408 hp as standard, the 993 Turbo was already one of the fastest road cars of its era, capable of effortlessly blending refinement, reliability, and raw character.
This particular example is equipped from the factory with the highly desirable WLS1 performance upgrade (X50). Developed by Porsche Exclusive, the WLS1 package increased output to approximately 430 hp, featuring larger turbochargers, revised engine management, and improved cooling. In period, this brought the 993 Turbo into true supercar territory, with explosive acceleration and remarkable high-speed stability.
What truly sets this car apart is its extraordinary factory specification. Ordered new in Germany, this 1996 Turbo was configured with an extensive list of Sonderwunsch and X-options, making it an exceptionally rare and highly individual example. The original purchase invoice is present, further reinforcing the car’s provenance and authenticity.
One of the most significant highlights is the XD1 / XD2 / X79 option combination, which gives the car the full Turbo S aerokit appearance. This factory configuration delivers the aggressive stance and visual drama of the Turbo S, while maintaining the exclusivity of a bespoke Sonderwunsch build.
The interior is equally special, featuring carbon fibre inlays throughout, Turbo seats, and black leather trim, creating a focused yet luxurious cockpit. The original carbon fibre steering wheel is included with the car.
