The 308 GTB is a true classic Ferrari, which replaced its predecessor, the 246 Dino. More than 12,000 units of the 308 GTB, designed by Pininfarina, were produced. From 1975 to 1977, 800 units were built with a polyester body , but after that the 308 was produced only with a steel body.
In addition, only the European version was supplied with a dry-sump engine, an eight-cylinder engine, with a cylinder capacity of 2926cc for 250 hp.
"Collection by Vermant" is pleased to offer you this 308 GTBi. This 308 was delivered new in February 1982 by Charles Pozzi in Toulouse, France. Since the end of the 80s, the history of this car is very complete and all invoices for the maintenance on the car are available. Under the possession of the last owner, a lot of costs have been incurred on this 308, both technically and optically. For example, the car has been repainted in its original red Rosso Corsa color and the interior and headliner have been renewed with the correct material as the original.
On a mechanical level, specialist Ets Mutatet Sport has done the necessary work on the car in France. For example, the entire suspension of the car has been overhauled and they have also replaced the entire brake circuit. The brake discs, brake calipers, brake lines and the master cylinder have been replaced. In terms of the engine, the injection and ignition systems were overhauled, and the cooling and heating system was also completely restored.
